“It changes so quickly that I never can quite believe it. That is why I watch it always.”
The Yellow Wallpaper , Charlotte Perkins Gilman

My photographic practice surrounds the concept of space and its ability to be transformed through deconstructive methods for my own understanding.
This series, the Spatial Flux, continues this investigation within a single corridor in order to record the happenings of light deconstructions that aim to illustrate how space can be readily transformed. Through a set of videos and photographic grids, sequences are formed to show the relationships between these seemingly fictional spaces, aiming to capture an experience with photography.
This series expresses to me another perspective into my photography that allows a “fictional” corridor to run through real time and place, as a continuously changing space (spatial flux.)
